Fortuna Silver Mines Inc.- Corporate updates

For the third quarter of 2022, Fortuna reports production of 101,840 gold equivalent ounces.

Vancouver Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (NYSE: FSM) (TSX: FVI) reports strong production results from its four operational mines in the Americas and West Africa for the third quarter of 2022.

Highlights of gold and silver production
Output of silver was 1,837,506 ounces, a 7.3% rise above the production of gold equivalent1 (66,344 ounces), which was 101,840 ounces in the third quarter of 2021.

The company produced consistently for a second quarter, and all of its mines are on track to meet their annual silver and gold production targets. The contributions of 30,032 ounces from the Lindero Mine and 27,130 ounces from the Yaramoko Mine helped to produce gold production of 66,344 ounces, a minor increase of 1.4 percent year over year.

The San Jose Mine’s increased tonnage processing contributed significantly to the increase in silver production, which reached 1,837,506 ounces, a 7.3 percent increase over the same period in 2021. The company has a decent chance of exceeding its silver annual projection. 9.1 million pounds of lead and 11.9 million pounds of zinc were produced as base metal byproducts.

In all, 5,160,529 ounces of silver and 195,315 ounces of gold were produced in the first nine months of 2022, or 301,649 ounces of gold equivalent2.
